Balloonist and Star Wars fan Benoit Lambert, 26, took his 100ft-tall balloon, shaped like evil Sith Lord Darth Vader, out for a test flight over Bristol before flying the $100,000 design all the way home to Belgium.

Balloon maker Don Cameron from Bristol said: "It's quite a sight. If you were in a plane and suddenly saw Darth Vader it would be quite a shock."
